(Don't) Save Me
As a recent recruit to the Agency of Narrative Intervention, you are tasked with playing the role of a "manic pixie dream girl". Following a strict outline, you must use your screwball wackiness to push a series of characters out of their comfort zones. But what happens to you after they get their happy endings?
I really wanted to make something for the Anti-Romance Jam since I have about three thousand ideas on that topic, but I didn't have enough time to do justice to more than one piece. While trying to find a different perspective that might let me use multiple ideas, this concept struck me and I realised it was perfect. I'm pretty proud of what I managed to achieve, even if it's a little rough around the edges, so I hope you enjoy playing!
Made using Decker, the greatest invention since sliced microchips.

This is funny. Good use of Decker.
really wonderful <3
Idk if I did it write but... I'm free of choices...
This was really interesting!
This is a delight. The formatting is really great, I love your use of visual hierarchy for the options through the game, and the color changes were a really clever way to differentiate the changes in setting. The ending was very fun! Great stuff.
WTF THE END? Genius.
wow this is fantastic. Love the design, and really got into the stories. I felt really shitty for having picked make-over for Max.
Incredible, the look, the story, everything...and addictive
Ooh this is so cool! From a Decker perspective it looks so clean and great, it's awesome. I feel like I need to replay it a whole bunch of times, haha!
This was really well done. I feel like there is a lot I've not yet explored, and will likely give it a few more goes after some time sitting on the experience. Fantastic work!
Hi, so, I haven't finished it. I actually super bungled my first playthrough, but through it I began to understand what you were doing and WOW I'm absolutely in love with this game.
The writing is SO funny (I absolutely adore meta and genre comedy). The world-building is So cool. And the twists????? The manipulation of choice sizes/clickablility/etc for drama?? Holy shit. Absolutely utilizing the fuck out of your format.
Excuse me while I play this game 15 more times.
(Also, as someone who in essence wrote about a manic pixie dream boy for my jam entry, this was sooooo fun to reflect on the trope to such an extent.)
Thank you so much!!! I'm excited to try your piece, it definitely looks up my alley.
