I noticed a while ago that a lot of my favourite songs involved waiting, so I started compiling a playlist. There was meant to be a story to go with this about a person waiting for their order of a demon to be delivered so they could finally sell their soul like all their favourite creators, but I'm not convinced there'd be anything more to say.

I really liked this one... felt quite meditative to go through so many different uses and contexts of one(ish) word and see all the repeating patterns...
these lyrics hit hard... also, I find really interesting the idea of compiling a playlist with songs based on a certain theme! it almost makes a whole song with a bunch of different lyrics.
